On Sunday, September 11, bring your tour tickets or email order confirmation to exchange for your Tour Map, wristbands and pre-ordered lunches.
Your maps can be picked up between 10:00am and 3:00pm at Pleasant Valley Elementary located at 755 Sutro Avenue, Novato. Tour maps will have information on each of the attractions including general descriptions of the coop, accessibility at the location, restroom availability, and other garden features.

An educational seminar at the school kicks off the tour for attendees interested in learning about basic chicken care, beekeeping 101, and other sustainability practices. Tour begins at 11am.

Raffle tickets will be drawn every half hour between 11:30 and 4:00.  Winners will be contacted by phone and/or email.  Winners need not be present to win.

Pre-ordered lunches will be available for pick-up at Pleasant Valley Elementary.

To ensure everyone has a safe, fun and informative event, please adhere to the following rules.

• Please leave all pets, including dogs, at home.
• Stay in designated areas of the tour.
• Keep close supervision of children to prevent them from wandering off.
• Some coop stops may have items (eggs, lemonade, water, baked goods, etc.) for sale.
• Only park where indicated, do not park in or block driveways.
• Restrooms are not available at the coop stops.  Please relieve yourselves at an appropriate location between coop stops.  Restrooms are indicated on tour maps.
• If you’d like to hold a chicken, please ask its owner before picking one up.  Please bring along your own hand sanitizer in case you handle chickens.
• Do not feed anything to the chicken unless given permission by the coop owner.
